Allison graduated from Dartmouth College and went on to receive both a masters and a PhD from the University of Minnesota. She practiced for several years as an industrial psychologist specializing in licensure work and is now president of Sage Personal Finance which offers debtor education services to individuals going through bankruptcy.
Matt Ahart, JD
Matt graduated from Princeton University and then completed law school at the University of California, Los Angeles. He is a member of the California bar. He and Allison together created an online financial management course that was made a part of a bankruptcy law course at University of California Los Angeles.
Beverly Shore, MA
Beverly graduated from the University of California at Berkeley and has a masters degree from The Ohio State University. She has more than 40 years of high school teaching and counseling experience.
Alan Ahart, JD, LLM
Alan has a bachelor’s degree in economics from UC Berkeley, a JD from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a Master of Laws in Financial Institutions from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a United States Bankruptcy Court Judge in the Central District of California with more than 20 years’ experience on the bench and the author of numerous articles and two books.
